Evanescence é o terceiro álbum de estúdio da banda norte-americana de rock de mesmo nome. O álbum deverá ser lançado em 11 de outubro de 2011 pela Wind-up Records.
A banda começou o processo de composição para o álbum em Junho de 2009. O lançamento do álbum foi mudada várias vezes. Primeiro, em 22 de fevereiro de 2010 a banda entrou no estúdio com o produtor Steve Lillywhite, mas depois eles pararam de gravar o álbum com ele, porque “não estava saindo muito bem”. Durante esse tempo, o álbum foi agendada para uma Agosto ou Setembro 2010 a liberação, mas Lee anunciou na tarde EvThreads.com que Evanescence deixou o estúdio. Em 11 de abril de 2011, a banda voltou ao estúdio com um novo produtor, Nick Raskulinecz, e acompanhamento foi concluído em 08 de julho de 2011.
O primeiro single do álbum, “What You Want”, estreou em 8 de Agosto de 2011 na MTV Americana.
